Octavio
Rincón.
Five worlds that began in a sketchbook. The work, its origin and what it became.
Xplazas

Creation never begins with certainty.
It begins the moment the mind lets go.
Xplazas is the materialisation of that first irrational impulse—
the surface where the pencil took control before reason had a chance to intervene.
The world asks a quiet question:
Is this reality, or only its shadow?
You enter an immense cavern where stone dissolves into metal.
A column of golden light cuts through the darkness.
Organic structures breathe.
Fragmented geometries pulse with a logic that existed long before language.
Everything surrounding you began as marks on paper.
Now they have weight.
Presence.
Space.
Xplazas is the engine room of the subconscious.
The place where the drawing made the decisions…
and the artist simply listened.
Umbral

Before there was a world,
there was a line.
Umbral is the first gesture.
A mark drawn without destination.
A spiral unfolding before it knows where it leads.
A moving hand.
A silent mind.
This drawing, made with a ballpoint pen in a travel sketchbook, isn't the beginning of a single artwork.
It's the beginning of everything that follows.
A doorway that doesn't reveal what's beyond it—
it creates it as you cross.
Umbral isn't a place.
It's the act of crossing.
Centinela

Some places aren't meant to be visited.
They're meant to be inhabited from within.
Centinela began as a question drawn onto paper.
Not a conscious idea.
A question about the unseen structures that hold us together.
The world receives you at its threshold.
A vast living cavern.
Stone columns breathe like enormous organisms.
Golden light enters at an angle,
as though searching for something it has almost remembered.
Nothing here resembles human architecture.
These are the remains of something that existed before language,
before history,
before names.
Centinela protects no treasure.
It hides no secret.
It safeguards a single question.
The golden reflections come from the light of the vortex, not from gold. That threshold leads to another world: these worlds are interconnected.
LTFR

Time isn't a straight line.
It's a matter of perspective.
LTFR doesn't tell a story.
It creates a condition.
A state of complete duality.
The journey leaves you in an endless sea of dunes beneath a twilight sky.
Fragments of forgotten architectures emerge from the sand,
bearing witness to a civilisation suspended between disappearance and rebirth.
At the centre,
a woman dressed in white rests upon geometric ruins.
She isn't another inhabitant.
She is the observer who chose to step inside the work,
rather than contemplate it from outside.
Her stillness changes everything.
Chaos slows.
Silence acquires weight.
Reality becomes nothing more than the perspective of whoever dares to inhabit it.
